Overview
The surveillance arm of the British-German Gamma Group, FinFisher sold the FinSpy intrusion suite to law-enforcement and intelligence agencies. Its tools were linked to attacks on activists in Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey and elsewhere. After a criminal complaint over illegal exports to Turkey and the seizure of its accounts, FinFisher and related firms filed for insolvency and ceased operations in 2022.
